Why bring your group to The Adventure Park?
We have 5 aerial trails made of small platforms constructed at various levels in the trees. The platforms are connected by different types of bridges (that represent obstacles) and climbers, using safety harnesses, maneuver from platform to platform. The park operates with virtually no negative environmental impact and the trees (our most important assets) are well cared for and protected.
Courses that Build Strength and Character
Climbers gain confidence and become energized by building the following qualities:
Self Esteem – Exploring our courses will challenge climbers to think strategically as they traverse from tree to tree and conquer each obstacle.
Social Skills – Groups of climbers can participate together offering each other strategies and encouragement.
Physical Strength – Our courses provide many different levels of challenge for your group. They offer outdoor exercise that is both safe and healthy. Physically, the courses help to build muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility.
Positive Effect – New friends are made, fears are conquered, and positive attitudes are established.
Please note that group rates (for groups of 10 or more) require advance reservation, a minimum of three weeks in advance. These time slots are filled at a first-come, first-served basis and require a non-refundable deposit to hold your time slot.
Group reservations are confirmed by receipt of a $150 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Full payment is due three weeks in advance of the reservation.
Three weeks before your climb, you will provide The Adventure Park with your group climbing list; we’ll then check to see that everyone’s liability waivers are done. This process greatly expedites your check-in process!
Groups can bring in their own food/snacks and we have drinks and snacks available in The Adventure Park store. Another option is The Casual Gourmet who operates the Magnolia Cafe at Heritage Museums & Gardens and has options available for birthday parties or group rentals. The Adventure Park does not have the ability to store any food supplies.
Please note, it’s important to remember our rules for the courses, based on age; this table should help you plan for your group outing, including any adult chaperones you may need if you are bringing scouts, 4-Hers, or other similar youth groups. If you don’t have enough chaperones, consider scheduling a guide to assist your group.
“Supervised”: an adult (18+) guiding children (1–10 children) from the ground.
“With Adult”: an adult (18+) must accompany children on aerial trails—maximum of 2 children per adult.
What times are available to schedule groups?
Weekdays (Monday -Friday): We are open Mon.-Fri. in the spring and fall for groups of 25 people or more, and can schedule a time that works best for the group. During the summer (Memorial Day – Labor Day), we can accommodate groups of 10 people or more people during the morning hours only, 8:00-11:00am.
Saturdays & Sundays: Due to the demand of individual climbers on weekends, we have a limited capacity for weekend bookings and can rarely book during our peak hours. We only have a limited number of slots available and these are filled on a first-come first-served basis. Group reservations are limited to between 8:00-11:00am.

Can we have a birthday party or family reunion at The Adventure Park?
The Adventure Park would be happy to host birthday parties, family reunions and any other gathering that you think would enjoy climbing and zip lines in the trees!
Do you have Corporate or Team Building events?
The Adventure Park is a great venue for a corporate outing or team building event. Climbing in the park is a fun way to interact with co-workers outside of the normal office setting. It enhances cooperation, communication, and group cohesion.
May summer camps use The Adventure Park?
Many summer camps will find The Adventure Park to be a superb destination to add to their program. Please contact the park office by phone or email to learn about the reserving an adventure for your camp.
What is the group cancellation policy?
The Adventure Park is generally open rain or shine. If the park is unable to open or is forced to close early during your visit due to severe weather, you are given the option to reschedule your outing or to receive a refund (excluding the deposit) of the paid amount. Please read our Group Weather Policy. Otherwise, our cancellation policy is as follows:
– Cancellations made 10 or more days in advance of your reservation will be refunded the reservation fee, excluding the $150 non-refundable deposit.
– Cancellations made less than 10 days in advance of your reservation are no longer eligible for a refund but full payment can be applied to a rescheduled visit to the park.
–Groups that are a “no-show” for their reservation on the reserved day/time are not eligible to be refunded or rescheduled.
